The energy behind Evolve Electrical Contractors comes from our founder and highly qualified electrician David Mooney.

David has 25 years’ experience in electrical contracting having chosen to train in the electrical industry straight from school. With this wealth of experience, he went on to set up Evolve Electrical Contractors in 2019.

David holds both Joint Industry Board (JIB) Gold Card and Electrical Site Manager Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) qualifications.

Evolve’s team consists of a small number of reliable and trustworthy electricians – you only have to look at their accreditations to know that. It demonstrates Evolve’s ongoing commitment to excellence in all areas of their business.

David loves nothing more than being on site ensuring his high standards of service are maintained and that his customers – both old and new – are always happy.

Customer satisfaction and quality of work remain a top priority for the Evolve team.

“Our accreditations let people know they’re employing qualified electricians that they can trust to carry out professional, quality work,” said David.

“Not only are our electricians qualified and experienced, but we treat every job as if it’s in our own home.

“We make sure wiring is neat and tidy, we leave premises exactly as we find them, and I make sure that all my electricians work to these high standards.”

David is also keen to support young people who are looking to make their mark in the electrical industry, just as he did 25 years ago.

He works closely with Kirklees College through their apprenticeship scheme.

David’s son, Logan, has also joined four other apprentice electricians within Evolve’s growing team.
